Uncut Magazine - His vocals recall the wide-eyed yearning of Mercury Rev's Jonathan Donahue while elements of Deserter's Songs, as well as Slowdive's shimmering guitars, can be heard in 'Hard To Know'. 'As The Sky Fills Up Everywhere' could almost be Beach House covering 'Knocking On Heaven's Door', and the War On Drugs' warm drowsiness is discernible in 'Lost Angeles'.”

Clash Magazine "Moving from sunshine pop to Krautrock in the space of one song, the album is often inspired, the sound of someone laying down the rules as they see fit.”

Magnet "Even if you get lost, it’s well worth the trip to Lost Angeles, kids. As is Wade’s album-release show at NYC’s Pianos on July 27.”

Wonderland Magazine"Earlier this year he released the summer luvin’ “Hard To Know”, a captivating glimpse of the sunshine coast, full of effortless vocals and psychedelic guitar.”
