NO MA Records is an independent label and studio rooted in the spirit of New York. We work with artists who have something to say and give them the space to say it.
From indie rock to children's music, our roster is built on craft, curiosity, and a love of the analog. No formulas. No limits.

The Roster
FURS are Elle Wade, LT Wade and Olly Betts. This London-based three-piece play stateside-influenced psychedelic pop with a distinct UK sound, playing their first shows in late 2012 and releasing their debut album in 2016.
They've toured worldwide with Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Gaz Coombes (Supergrass), and Allah-Las, and played Glastonbury twice including the BBC Introducing stage. Debut album Just Kids gained critical acclaim and hundreds of thousands of plays across their career.
LT Wade is a British-born, New York-based artist and producer defined by a restless creative spirit and a penchant for rich, analog-inspired sonics. Over two decades and across continents he has evolved from a high-profile sideman into a compelling solo force and sought-after producer.
Wade's journey began in Los Angeles as live guitarist for Courtney Love, before forming the indie-psych outfit FURS and releasing three solo albums including Transient (2018) and Requiem For The American Dream (2020). Press have cited his "impeccable taste" and "charismatic, groovy, and clever" songwriting across Clash, Paste, and Wonderland. Today he operates out of NO MA — a woodland studio developing and producing emerging talent.
Animal Rock Music is a music-first children's world built on the belief that kids deserve great records too. Designed for babies, toddlers, and the parents who listen alongside them, it moves away from the frenetic pace of modern digital content in favour of groove, melody, and feel.
At the heart of the brand is a band of anthropomorphic animals who value musicianship and curiosity. Drawing from classic rock, the pocket of Motown, and the simplicity of folk — built on real instruments and analog textures, designed to be timeless.
North of Manhattan is a fluid, collaborative music project from New York. There's no fixed line-up, no rigid formula. Each release is shaped by the chemistry of whoever's playing, capturing the kind of spontaneous interplay that can only happen between great players responding to each other.
The debut single Talkin', New York brings together Liam Wade (bass, guitar), Chris Ward (saxophone), and Ian Menard (drums) — layers of phrases and rhythmic gestures evolving into a flowing, indie jazz-leaning snapshot of three musicians in a New York conversation.
